Sometimes we can’t help enjoying a taste of revenge, and one woman was overjoyed when Facebook users joined her in mocking her high school enemy’s engagement ring.
The woman took to the Facebook group That’s It, I’m Ring Shaming to share a photo of the ring presented to her nemesis – described as a well-connected screenwriter, believed to be US-based.
She said that her foe’s Facebook connections had been raving about how the polished stone mounted on a plain band, but ring shamers were quick to point out that it looked just like a tooth.
Other mused it looked like a marshmallow, a piece of gum and even a kidney stone, while others asked if it was a practical joke.
But the woman behind the post confirmed it was all real, saying: ‘They are afraid of her so they preach all glory to the ring and everything that she does.’

The post gathered nearly 600 reactions on the social media platform, and more than 500 comments.
The ring resembling an unpolished off-white pebble mounted on a thin gold band, is believed to have been custom-made by the woman’s fiancé.
However, many people said the rock on the ring looked like a molar, with one asking: ‘Is…is that a tooth?’.
‘I gave you my molar, will you marry me,’ joked another.

‘Thank you for finding the wisdom tooth I had removed in September,’ said another.
And others likened the ring to marshmallow or gum.
‘I thought this was a mini marshmallow stuck to the ring,’ one said.
‘It looks like some stuck their chewing gum to a penny and everybody involved in making this ring should be fired immediately,’ said another.
Many had other words of choice for the ring, including comparing it to a kidney stone.
