A woman has accidentally run over her four-year-old son with a ride-on lawn mower.
The mother was mowing her front yard about 5pm on Monday when she ‘felt the bump’ as she reversed, only to discover she had hit her young child.
The little boy received cuts to his thighs and torso injuries after the accident in Mardi, on the Central Coast, 9News reported.

The mother frantically pulled her son out from under the lawn mower with the help of a neighbour.
Paramedics rushed to the home and treated the young boy’s injured leg and body cuts.
The four-year-old was airlifted to The Children’s Hospital in Westmead and is expected to undergo emergency surgery.
The child sustained non-life threatening injuries.
