A Florida woman on a river cruise is accused of groping another passenger’s buttocks in front of her six-year-old daughter before telling her husband to ‘go back to the country you came from’. 

Lisa Anne Matteson, 58, was arrested Friday afternoon after Pinellas County arrest records say she grabbed the woman at least twice, telling her: ‘Oh, it’s curved and nice. I would do you.’ 

When confronted by the alleged victim’s husband Matteson, who lives with her husband in Port Richey, is said to have replied: ‘You should go back to the country you came from.’

Police and several witnesses say Matteson was intoxicated when she made the remarks incident on the Sponearama cruise boat on the Anclote River, according to a report on The Smoking Gun.

Her alleged comments come just days after President Donald Trump told freshmen Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley to go back to the countries they ‘originally came from’ and fix issues there before telling U.S. government how it should run.  

During a rally in Greenville, North Carolina on Wednesday, Trump specifically called out Omar while speaking to the crowd.

He also defended the crowd at the rally for chanting, ‘Send her back!’ 

He issued another attack on the women on Sunday morning, claiming they don’t love the U.S.

Matteson is said to have denied groping the woman, telling officers she ‘didn’t remember anything and doesn’t know why she was arrested’.  

But she did admit to telling the man to ‘go back to the country you came from’, according to a police report. 

The race or ethnicity of the couple, who are not named, has not been released by police.

Matteson has been charged with misdemeanor simple battery and was released on Saturday morning after posting a $500 bond.
