A woman’s body was found floating in Sydney Harbour next to the Overseas Passenger Terminal about 7am on Tuesday, soon after a cruise ship docked

Cruise ship Radiance of the Seas docked at the terminal about 6.30am, shortly before the body was found.

Terminal staff were first to respond to the body but it is not known if the woman was a passenger on the ship.

Passengers did not disembark the ship until 8am, as is standard customs procedure.

The Asian woman is yet to be identified and police are investigating.
