Clarisa Figueroa, 46, and her daughter Desiree, 24, pleaded not guilty to murder charges on Wednesday
Clarisa and Desiree are accused of stabbing 19-year-old Marlen Lopez on April 23 after she went to their house looking for baby clothes.
Piot Bobak, who is accused of helping the women cover up the murder, also pleaded not guilty
She was pregnant at the time and Clarisa and her daughter allegedly strangled her to death then cut her son from her womb.
Clarisa then presented herself at a hospital with the boy, claiming he was hers, and passed him off as her own for weeks until DNA tests proved he was not.
Marlen’s family had reported her missing and it was their persistent searches for her which drove police to the Figueroas’ home.
The baby died earlier this month after two months on life support.
Bobak was not charged with murder but with helping the two women cover it up.
Marlen’s body was found in a trash can outside their home, her car was parked nearby and she had been in contact with Clarisa on Facebook.
Marlen Lopez, 19, was strangled to death and her baby boy, Yadiel, was cut from her womb. Yadiel died last month after two months in intensive care
