Women dressed as nuns rob Pennsylvania bank

  • They toted handbags and handguns and dressed in habits to carry off the heist
  • One of the women even donned a pair of sunglasses for the midday robbery 
  • The FBI is now hunting the pair and is asking anyone with information to call 215-418-4000  

A pair of Hispanic women are on the run in Pennsylvania after holding up a bank dressed as nuns. 

The women toted black handguns as they robbed Citizens Bank in Tannersville on Monday at around 12.30pm. 

Police have not revealed exactly how much they stole as they shared surveillance footage of the heist.

The women, dressed in habits, carried handbags and one wore a pair of sunglasses.

The two women are described as Hispanic and are both around 5ft tall. 

No one was harmed in the hold-up.
