A Woolworths employee has revealed why you don’t have to waste time hunting around for items in the supermarket if you consult a handy aisle directory – which can be found at the end of each and every aisle in Woolworths.

Cashier Liam Kirley shared a video on the Woolworths TikTok account, where he shared the ‘quick little Woolworths shopping hack’.

The laminated A4 sheet reveals exactly which aisle you can locate various products throughout the store, from water to bread and milk.

‘At the end of every aisle, there are these aisle directories,’ Liam said in the clip. 

‘So if you’re looking for motor oil it’ll be under motoring, which is in aisle eight.’

Thousands who saw the video said they never knew this before.

‘Wow, I didn’t know this. Thanks for sharing,’ one person wrote.

‘That’s a lifesaver,’ another added. 

But others said the aisle directories aren’t in fact available at their stores.

‘Not at all Woolworths and not on all aisles,’ one person wrote.

This isn’t the first hack Liam has shared. 

Previously, Liam shared a video explaining how you can find out whether your store is busy or not without leaving your home just by looking at the supermarket’s ‘Q Tracker’ online.

Simply enter the postcode or suburb of your preferred store, and the estimated queue time to visit the store will pop up.

The time-saving feature allows shoppers to plan the best times to do their grocery shop and know when the busiest days during the week are. 

The data gets updated every five minutes so shoppers will have the latest details whether they are about to leave their home or on their way to shop. 

He also revealed an easy-to-miss hook located under the handlebar at the back of the trolley that is perfect for hanging your reusable bags.
