Woolworths shoppers go wild over a new $30 mini supermarket trolley

Shoppers are going wild over a new $30 mini Woolworths grocery trolley.

Nina Lee, from Melbourne, shared a now-viral TikTok video showing off her new purchases after she got her hands on the new range of toys. 

‘Look what I found, a mini supermarket trolley and mini reusable shopping bags – we really got distracted, we didn’t need any of this,’ the 18-year-old said in the video as she added the items to her cart during her grocery shop.

Nina said growing up, she loved the imaginative pretend play by setting up her own supermarket at home.

‘I’m getting more excited than a child would. I’m telling you, this is my childhood. I used to love anything with supermarket items,’ she said. 

She also purchased the $15 mini shopping basket with 24-piece accessories, including plastic fruits and vegetables and mini replicas of grocery items.

‘We’ve got popcorn, rolled oats… we’ve got berries. I’m honestly so excited right now,’ she said.

Among her purchases was a miniature environmentally friendly shopping bag. 

‘The shopping bag is so cute, I’m going to use it when I go to Woolworths. I’m going to use it as a handbag,’ she said.

After assembling her trolley, Nina said she was filled with excitement. 

‘Look how cute it is,’ she said.

‘It is honestly the greatest thing ever created and I’m so f***ing excited – this s*** makes me so happy. You should see the smile on my face right now.  

‘If you guys can get your hands on this trolley – I don’t care how old you are – please get one, it’s so iconic and I love it so much.’

Her video has since been viewed more than 240,000 times, with many saying they couldn’t wait to surprise their children with the toy trolley.

‘I’m going to frantically run to my Woolies tomorrow, my kids would die for this,’ one mum wrote, while another joked: ‘The fact I want to buy these for me and not buy it for my kids is questionable.’

Another said: ‘I would have loved this back in my day – I used to take all the old and used boxes, put them on my shelf and pretend to go shopping.’ 

One shopper said she used to love pushing around the mini Woolworths grocery trolley around the supermarket store while her parents did their shopping.
