X Factor Australia winner Dami Im announces the birth of her first child

Dami Im and her husband Noah Kim have welcomed their first child together, a son. 

On Friday, the X Factor Australia winner, 33, shared photos of her little one to Instagram, revealing that he was born on May 12. 

‘My burrito, welcome to this world 120522 Harrison Noah Kim,’ the delighted singer wrote in her cation, explaining that baby shares a middle name with his dad. 

In the images, the sweet baby boy is wrapped up tight, first in a lion motif blanket and then in a white swaddle with a pastel design. 

Noah shared some extra images to his own Instagram, in which he was nestled next to baby Harrison’s cot. 

He also shared the same caption, but added a crying face emoji, as well as a smiling face emoji, to his version.

Dami revealed in December she was expecting her first child with husband Noah, sharing her sonogram on Instagram.

‘I got a gig booked in Brisbane for May 2022 at the maternity ward,’ she cheekily captioned the image. 

The former reality star married husband Noah in Soul, Korea, in 2012.

A year later she would become an instant celebrity after winning The X Factor Australia. 

Dami – who is known for songs including Sound of Silence and Super Love – also performed at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016, coming second place overall. 

She previously gave fans a glimpse of her growing baby bump in January, in an Instagram post.

The pop star posed in a glamourous black dress, showing off her blossoming baby bump.  

Dami recently made a music comeback with her new album My Reality. 

The album, on which Dami co-wrote every song, was released on October 29 and it peaked at number 12 on the ARIA Australian albums chart.
