He told Now magazine: ‘I’ve got so much more confidence now. I don’t want to lose a stone a week or anything like that. I used to survive on crisps and sandwiches.

‘I don’t eat a lot of fat and I’ve cut right down on sugar. Eggs are the way forward.’

While Craig is seen smiling in social media pictures today, he previously said his weight loss took a mental toll during an appearance on Loose Women in 2016.

He explained: ‘Once I started to lose weight my insecurities were more heightened.

‘I think being in a healthy good relationship helped. I was in a toxic relationship, being with someone new now it feels completely different now.

‘You can change the outside, but the inside will always be the same. As time went on [my insecurities] started to deflate. I did a gig on Saturday and I was absolutely terrified.’

He added that he became obsessed with his weight loss and felt he lost too much weight at one point.

‘You become so obsessed that you don’t know what you’re doing anymore, and you wake up thinking what am I gonna eat or not eat,’ he concluded.
