Tickets to stroll beneath the stunning sea of flowers start at just $7 but there are many other offerings at the festival – many of which offer guests a taste of Japan to pay homage to the plant’s natural home.

The event has a limited amount of tickets available as part of their covid-safety plan so booking is essential. Health declarations are also required at time of booking and time of entry.

This is the first year the event has included posh picnics, which give guests the option of lazing beneath the incredible floral display whilst grazing on charcuterie, cheeses and antipasto delights.

The picnic, which is put on in collaboration with The Posh Palais costs $125 per-head and there is a four person minimum.

But the gorgeous setup already has people dreaming online with dozens asking how to book.

‘We just have to do this, it looks amazing,’ one woman said tagging her friends.
