‘You can’t joke around about that’: Tense moment Pete Davidson ‘asks Jake Paul about sexual assault’

This is the tense moment comedian Pete Davidson asked YouTuber and Boxer Jake Paul about allegations of sexual assault against him before going onto brand him a ‘piece of s**t’ in an interview with Ben Askren on Saturday.

Davidson made the comments in interviews with Paul and Askren before the Triller Fight pay-per-view boxing match in Atlanta on Saturday.

In the host’s first interview, with Paul, he appears to be muted as he apparently confronts the YouTuber on the sexual assault allegations made against him by TikTok star Justine Paradise on April 9.  Paul has strenuously denied the allegations.

In Saturday’s interview, Paul can he heard laughing off Davidson’s alleged question about the allegations, saying: ‘Bro, you can’t joke around about that’.

In response, Davidson says ‘I’m not, I’m not’ and tells the YouTuber he’s just checking if he’s ‘good’.

Davidson then asks Paul a series of awkward questions, including his favorite colour, before ending the interview.

The American comedian then went to MMA fighter Ben Askren’s locker room, for a second bout of awkward interviewing.

Davidson quickly asks Askren why he does not like his opponent Paul. The MMA fighter explains, ‘even if Jake Paul’s a decent fighter he’s still a s**tbag as a human being’.

Davidson quickly chimes in to agree and then says, ‘and that’s what we’re trying to get, you know, the message to the kids, that he is a piece of s**t’.

It was an abrupt turnaround from Davidson’s attempted friendliness with Paul in the earlier interview.
