You star Victoria Pedretti says she was sexually harassed by a ‘well known’ actor

You actress Victoria Pedretti says she was sexually harassed by a ‘well known’ actor last year.

The Philadelphia native, 28, explained the uncomfortable incident in an Instagram post she subsequently deleted.

‘On my bday last year a “well known” actor walked up to me at a party and said, “I’ve jacked off to you so many times,” said Pedretti, who plays Love Quinn on the Netflix series, Buzzfeed reported.

Pedretti said she ‘was shocked by the audacity’ of the actor, adding, ‘This is AFTER he expressed how much he RESPECTED me as an actor lol.’

She posted a nude selfie along with the caption, writing, ‘Sometimes I enjoy modesty, sometimes I don’t.

‘It’s a joke to think that my own modesty will protect me from any disrespected I may experience as a femme body. Also, shout out to my body. I love you. You’re mine.’

A number of social media user sought to persuade Pedretti to publicly name the person involved in the incident, but she declined – for now.

‘Trust me, I told this person if I ever hear anything else in regards to him, like, then we have an issue,’ Pedretti said in a subsequent Instagram Stories post.

Pedretti said she didn’t want to see the actor canceled solely over the unwanted remark.

‘I can handle it, I don’t need his career ruined because he said something really f***ing dumb,’ she said Pedretti, who played Manson disciple Lulu in the 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The actress said she did not initially intend to speak about the incident in her post.

‘That post started with me wanting to post a nude and then thinking about my birthday,’ Pedretti said. ‘So the main point was the nude.

‘Especially when it’s like, no matter what you do, people are going to say terrible things and … feel entitled to talk about women.’

Pedretti said she 'was shocked by the audacity' of the actor, adding, 'This is AFTER he expressed how much he RESPECTED me as an actor lol'

It comes after Netflix announced Friday it has renewed You for a fifth and final season.

Penn Badgley, who asked for fewer sex scenes in season four out of respect to his wife, will return as the charming but obsessive Joe Goldberg one last time.

‘Goodbye… YOU. Joe Goldberg will return for the fifth and final season of YOU,’ the streaming service posted on Instagram, sharing a video of the actor.

The same video was shared on Twitter, with the message, ‘Brace yourself for Joe Goldberg’s final chapter. You will return for a fifth and final season in 2024!’

The series finale will be helmed by new showrunners.

Sera Gamble, who oversaw the day to day operations for the first four seasons is stepping back.

Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo will take over those duties on the series.

The fourth season of You sees Badgley’s character, Joe Goldberg, receive a taste of his own medicine from a vengeful serial killer as he attempts to keep a low profile under a new identity.

After killing ten people over the past three seasons of You, Goldberg is unable to escape his past once he catches the attention of a murderer, who is dubbed the ‘Eat the Rich Killer.’

Following his move to London, and new life as Professor Jonathan Moore, Joe battles a fresh heartbreak, which he ominously calls the ‘catalyst for a new path.’

The previous season ended with Joe killing Love, the mother of his child, before jetting off to Europe in search of Marienne.

The first part of season four debuted February 9 on Netflix. The second part dropped a month later on March 9.

The thriller hit No. 1 on Netflix’s internal charts with the second half of its fourth season.

Exiting showrunner Sera Gamble shared the same video on her social media Friday, writing, ‘It is rare and precious when a TV show gets to tell its complete story as intended. It only happens with genuinely massive support from viewers. Thank you for watching and telling your friends and supporting the show. We love you to death. ❤️’

Over! It comes after Netflix announced that they had renewed You for a fifth and final series, set to air in 2024

In an interview on The Hollywood Reporter’s TV’s Top 5 Podcast, Gamble revealed the producers had an ‘exciting idea’ for a fifth season that might be a good way to close out the series.

‘Even in the early conversations with Penn, the idea was not to crank out episodes forever; it’s to feel like we have told the complete story.

‘And though I feel like tonally, we’re very different and we are not trying to sell Joe as any kind of a hero with a straight face, she explained. ‘This is a show that is in the tradition of these single-lead shows with a guy who does increasingly bad things.

‘The beautiful thing about it is that when his arc is complete, so is the show.”
