The cast of Gogglebox weighed in on Serena Williams’ recent on-court tantrum at the US Open during Thursday night’s episode.
The incident has indeed divided people who watched the game around the world, agog at Williams’ clash with chair umpire Carlos Ramos during her match with Naomi Osaka.
As reported by News.com.au, Anastasia rubbished Serena’s claim she was simply standing up for women’s rights when she accused the game’s authorities of being sexist.

Gogglebox’s Symon said to his housemate Adam: ‘Serena had a tanty. Like, toys out of the cot!’

But Adam defended the tennis champion, saying: ‘She’s under a lot of pressure to win her major.’
Jad, who was in the lounge room with Matty and Sarah Marie, was chuffed when umpire Ramos handed Williams a game penalty.
‘He’s like a parking inspector,’ said Jad. ‘Cops the abuse and says, “OK, I’m going to f**k your life some more”.’
Tom took aim at Serena’s outfit, however, declaring: ‘If I was going to be upset, it would be (because of) that s**t costume you’re wearing. It’s horrible!’
