Young founders team up to launch Brandtique Bridal – a unique service for weddings

Best friends team up to launch a unique wedding photography service that delivers snaps the NEXT day: ‘This is a game-changer in every way’

  • Co-founders Olivia Epifano and Victoria Scuteri launch Brandtique Bridal
  • The 23-year-olds noticed a gap in the wedding industry
  • They’ve both had success in business before and met at university

Newlywed couples usually have to wait weeks to receive wedding photos – but now a pair of entrepreneurial young mates have launched a service to have content ready to go the very next day.

Olivia Epifano and Victoria Scuteri, from Melbourne, joined forces to launch Brandtique Bridal after noticing a gap in the Aussie wedding market.

With social media constantly at fingertips and consumer patience growing thin, the 23-year-olds believe hiring an outsider to record all the content from the day takes the load off the bridal party and guests alike.

The duo thought of the idea after attending weddings themselves and noticed the bridesmaids were working overtime to document every second.

‘Two of the bridesmaids weren’t really a part of the wedding because they were too busy trying to get behind the scenes of the bride. It was very messy and unorganised,’ the pair told FEMAIL.

‘We realised that while photographers capture the couple no one actually captures candid moments, guest reactions or funny things in weddings. So we thought, ‘Why don’t we change that?”.’

And their brand is in serious demand, with more than 200 inquiries flooding their emails and 20 per cent of those locked in for 2024 and 2025.

They’re no strangers to business however.

Olivia owns The Lavish Lash Lounge and has turned over a staggering $1.7million with her clever The Lash Lifter, while Victoria owns Destino The Label selling jewellery and candles that sell every 10 minutes.

The two friends met at university and started working on group projects together then graduated at the top of the class before parting ways.

Then over dinner they decided to come together and start a business as they knew they were onto something unique.

‘When we started doing our research we realised that America and Europe had started launching the concept and it was working. We made it our mission to be the first in Australia to do it! We know that when it comes to trends Australia eventually follows what America does,’ the pair said.

And so far brides have nothing but good things to say about the concept.

Sam, 30, said: ‘Victoria and Olivia did such an amazing job on my wedding day and my bridesmaids were happy that they didn’t have the pressure of doing this.

‘My husband and I just stayed in bed for hours going through the photos and videos the girls did. We loved see our guest reactions and seeing how much fun they had at the wedding.’

Sofia, 29, from Melbourne said: ‘The next morning my husband and I were able to go through all the photos and videos, we spent hours reliving, laughing and crying over some special moments that the girls from Brandtique Bridal were able to capture.

‘The moments were captured so seamlessly that I missed on my wedding day due to everything being so overwhelming.’
