A desperate search is underway for a young mother who vanished from her small town five days ago.

Karina Bradnam, 29, was last seen on Thursday in Tītahi Bay, on New Zealand’s lower North Island. Tītahi Bay is a half hour drive from Wellington and has a population of about 7,000. 

The small town is well-known for its brightly coloured boatsheds that line its picturesque bay.

Ms Bradnam was seen wearing T-shirt and jeans on the day she went missing.

Ms Bradnam was reported missing on Saturday. 

There are concerns for Bradnam’s safety and wellbeing, New Zealand police said.
