A 25-year-old woman is fighting for her life, while three others were rushed to hospital for drug-related health issues and hundreds reported to paramedics after a Sydney dance party on Saturday.
A total of 14,000 festival-goers attended the annual Midnight Mafia dance music festival, packing out the Sydney Showground.
A large police operation, including sniffer dogs, was needed as some of the attendees were believed to be carrying drugs.
Of the 187 people that were searched, police made a record drug seizure with more than 3,500 MDMA ecstasy capsules captured.

Paramedics were on hand to treat the 256 people who sought medical treatment with three festical-goers being rushed to hospital for drug-related health issues.
‘The amount of people caught with a number of large prohibited drug offences is outstanding and it leaves us speechless actually,’ NSW Police South West Metro Region Enforcement Squad Detective Chief Inspector Gus Viera told Seven News.
‘I’ve never seen anything like it, the sheer brazenness of it is incredible.
‘We saw more drugs seized today than recent events, one of the largest we’ve seen, which clearly shows our messaging is not getting through.’

Thirteen people, including three young women, have been charged with drug supply while 32 people were issued with court notices for drug possession.
Notably, a 21-year-old woman, in possession of almost 1,600 MDMA capsules and an amount of cocaine, was arrested and given bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on May 25, 2018.
Another 21-year-old woman was allegedly carrying nearly 550 pills; and a 19-year-old woman was allegedly caught with 200 capsules.
