A little girl in Virginia said YouTube videos taught her what to do when her aunt unexpectedly went into labor at their home and then passed out.
Chloe Carrion said she was home with her aunt, 21-year-old Dominique Spann, on Tuesday afternoon when Spann started complaining that she didn’t feel well.
Spann, who kept her pregnancy a secret from her family, went into the bathroom and started screaming for her niece.
‘She screamed my name saying, “Chloe”, and I came and she’s like, “There’s a baby”. She had lost a lot of blood,’ Carrion told NBC4.

The baby, named Isaac, is happy and healthy. Carrion said she cut the baby’s umbilical cord, wrapped him in a blanket and called 911
The little girl said her aunt climbed into the tub to give birth, and then passed out.
Carrion said she quickly jumped into action and grabbed something to cut the umbilical cord.
She then called 911 and wrapped the newborn baby boy in a blanket until EMS arrived to their Fairfax County home.
When asked how she knew what to do in that situation, Carrion explained that she learned from watching YouTube videos and reading a lot.

The baby’s mother Dominique Spann was so thankful for Carrion that she let her name the baby

Spann and her newborn son were taken to the hospital and are doing fine, family members said
‘I watch YouTube videos about people playing with dolls and I see them care for the babies, so I used stuff I knew from the videos,’ the little girl said.
Spann and the baby were taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital, and are doing fine.
‘I’m very proud, so that makes me feel good,’ Spann told NBC, adding that she didn’t tell her family she was pregnant because she was ‘scared’.
Spann was so thankful her young niece was there to help that she let her pick the baby’s name. Carrion said she chose the name Isaac.
