A YouTuber was one of two people arrested after a fight broke out on a luxury P&O cruise ship as fears continue over the company’s offer of 15 free drinks.

Boxing enthusiast Tabatha Young was detained when a brawl erupted on the Britannia on Friday.

The 41-year-old from Chigwell, Essex, was held along with a 43-year-old male after plates and furniture were flung and six people injured, The Times reports.

She has interviewed boxers on YouTube and writes affectionately about her ‘boxing family’ online.

One witness was spattered in blood during the scrap, which happened at the end of a trip to the Norwegian fjords.

Hampshire police say that she was released under investigation after two passengers got into a row at about 1.30am.

Ms Young also appeared in a video interviewing Luton Town FC’s Linus Udofia after he won a fight against Darren Dordona in March this year at York Hall. She introduces herself as an interviewer for the channel Pep Talk UK.

One mother on board the ship referred to the trip as 'Benidorm on Sea' and said some people were there to 'purely to drink as much as they could with their unlimited drinks'

Holidaymakers are offered a £40-a-day ‘ultimate package’ entitling them to up to 15 alcoholic drinks from 6am.

There are supposed to be 15-minute breaks between drinks, but passengers have reported that staff are not enforcing the limit.

It is not clear whether or not such an offer was in place when Friday’s fight broke out, but P&O cruises have had the promotion in place since January.

Maritime lawyer Jim Walker, from Florida, says all-inclusive drinks packages often feature in his cases.

‘We’ve had cases where passengers have been involved in bar fights and the alleged assailants have had a drinks package,’ he said.

‘They’ve said that they drank all 15 drinks, that they didn’t want to leave any money on the table.’

One mother on board the ship referred to the trip as ‘Benidorm on Sea’ and said some people were there to ‘purely to drink as much as they could with their unlimited drinks’.

The pair were woken by the commotion surrounding the fight and the mother, who asked not to be named, said it would be her last cruise.

She told MailOnline: ‘From the moment we embarked on the ship we found many of the other guests to be rude, have zero manners or respect for others. The boat was basically Benidorm on Sea with a me, me, me attitude.

‘We found many people were there purely to drink as much as they could with their unlimited drinks packages.

‘My son has been shoved, almost pushed on to a train track by other guests rushing to get on the P&O train trip before us and had his hand burnt by a man jostling him at the buffet with no apology or care shown.’

The passenger said she ‘pitied’ the staff on the ship who had been ‘helpful and lovely’.

A booze-fuelled ‘patriotic’ party got underway as the cruise left Bergen just after 2.30pm on Thursday, and the fight broke out.

GMTV correspondent Richard Galsford tweeted that there was ‘blood everywhere’ after the row.
