Man allegedly murdered his friend before hiring ‘The Cleaner’ to dispose of the body in a metal cabinet and dump it in a creek

A man has been charged with murder after the body of his friend was found wrapped in plastic inside a metal cabinet that had been dumped in a creek.
Zachary Richard Fraser, 22, was arrested at his Peakhurst home, in southern Sydney, on Monday.
His arrest came after police launched an investigation into the death of alleged drug dealer Darcy Schafer-Turner, 22, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Fraser was taken to St George Police Station where he was charged with murder.

Detectives found Mr Schafer-Turner’s body last Friday in a large metal cabinet that had been dumped in Warrell Creek in Macksville, on the Mid North Coast.
Police discovered the body after launching a search for Mr Schafer-Turner was missing.
They had been investigating the alleged supply of drugs in the Caringbah region, in southern Sydney, at the time.
According to court documents, Fraser allegedly murdered Mr Schafer-Turner between April 27 and 29.

It is alleged that a Brisbane businessman acted as ‘The Cleaner’ and helped sanitise the crime scene and dispose of Mr Schafer-Turner’s body.
Charles Dennis Le Marchant Turnbull, 33, was arrested in Brisbane on an outstanding warrant for accessory to murder.
Turnbull, who owns AAG Group and works in the transport industry, allegedly flew to Sydney where he bought chlorine, coveralls, duct tape, gloves and cleaning material from Bunnings.
Police alleged he then went to the Peakhurst property where Mr Schafer-Turner’s body lay.
Turnbull allegedly made another trip to Bunnings, in the deceased’s ute, to buy a large metal cabinet, drill, zip ties and rolls of black plastic.

It was alleged in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday that Turnbull and the other men then cleaned the crime scene and wrapped Mr Schafer-Turner’s body in plastic and placed it in the metal cabinet which was then placed in the deceased’s ute.
Turnbull then allegedly purchased a trailer and aluminium boat in Port Macquarie on Facebook marketplace which he then drove north to Warrell Creek, south of Macksville, where he dumped the body.
The court heard that Turnbull was in debt related to drugs and he had been told he could clear some of that debt if he helped out.
Turnbull was refused bail and he will remain in Queensland until he is extradited to NSW to face the accessory to murder charge.
Fraser was refused bail and his next hearing will be at the Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday 17 August.
