Zara Australia online store launches

Australian fashion fiends have rejoiced over the long-awaited launch of popular Spanish clothing brand, Zara’s, online store.

The retail giant went live with its newest venture Wednesday morning, much to the excitement of its thousands of male and female fans across the country.

With its unique fashion previously available from 15 physical locations, shoppers can now get access to hot-ticket items at the touch of a button, and return unwanted items for free.

Deliveries can be ordered for postal delivery to home addresses, or be picked up from one of its stores, including from the triple-level Pitt Street Mall store in Sydney.

The Zara website was set to launch alongside a phone app offering men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, but not its Home range.

The brand has not only become a popular choice for many people’s everyday wear, it has earned the endorsement of several famous faces.

American model and actress, Emily Ratajkowski, was married in a mustard Zara suit listed online for $179 earlier this year.

A Zara dress was also worn by comedian Amy Poehler when she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has been seen wearing the popular brand, sporting a blue Zara dress during her 2011 honeymoon and regularly donning its jeans and jackets.

Quirky Zara pieces have routinely been incorporated into fashion models Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung outfits, with fans previously disappointed over not being able to recreate looks by shopping online.

The online launch came just months after speculation it would break its lease on its Robina shopping centre store on the Gold Coast because of a downturn in the retail sector.

The retail giant’s biggest competitor, Swedish company H & M is yet to go online with its multinational fast-fashion brand.
