The new BBC 3 show, which will follow couples who met during the pandemic via a dating app, is expected to begin filming later on in the summer.

It will see pairs who have only ever spoken online or on the phone thrown into a real-life date.

Adopting a Love Island aura, it will be filmed abroad, with travel restrictions meaning no official filming dates have been confirmed.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Zara for comment.

A source told The Sun: ‘Zara is quickly becoming a real BBC darling, and following the success of her documentary earlier this year, she was approached for Love In The Flesh.

‘It will be Zara’s first time presenting a big show, but bosses think she is more than ready for it. And because of her Love Island past, Zara knows all too well what it can be like finding love on screen.’

They also added that the reality star was ‘thrilled’ when the opportunity was offered to her.
