One woman wearing a ‘Justice for Zayne’ shirt could be heard shouting: ‘You owe my f****** niece an apology…not guilty, you f****** piece of s***.’

Bullock had his original charge of death by dangerous driving downgraded to driving without due care.

Friends and family of the two-year-old, who died at the scene after the crash, were seen following Bullock as he got into a taxi.

They kicked and spat at the taxi, yelling expletives as Bullock was driven away.

Zayne, remembered as a ‘cheeky boy with an infectious smile’, died at the scene of the accident.

Bullock was later arrested at a nearby house, where the car was in the driveway.

Zayne’s family believe Bullock has shown no remorse and has refused to apologise for the accident.

He will face trial in the District Court next year.
