Zoe Foster Blake dons face mask to advise fans on skincare routines after long flights

She recently won best picture book at The Australian Book Industry Awards for her children’s story No One Likes A Fart.

And while Zoe Foster Blake’s schedule has been busy since she scooped the accolade, she revealed she still makes time for her beauty regime.

The 37-year-old journalist-turned-skincare mogul was keen to tell her 651k Instagram followers the benefits of taking care of your skin while on the road.

‘This is the new me, exhausted mum me’: Zoe Foster Blake donned a face mask to advise fans on skincare routines after long flights on Thursday

Zoe wrote: ‘Long flights enthusiastically ruin your skin, and visibly add 100 years. And as we head into winter, maaaany Aussies are racking off on long flights.

‘As such, my overlords at Expedia asked me for some simple – SIMPLE! – ways to maintain happy skin if you’re jetting off. (Like using a sheet mask before/during or after your flight, as pictured.)’

She added: ‘Please note: This is not the old me, dishing out 78 steps and 54 product recommendations, this is the new me, exhausted mum me, no time for fussy s**t me; no space in my handbag, me. (WHOA!! She sounds like FUN!)’

Posting a picture of her book, the former beauty editor captioned the post: ‘Blessed be the toot. My picture book, No One Likes A Fart, won best picture book at The Australian Book Industry Awards last night! I’m so chuffed.’

In celebration of the milestone, her hubby and their children dressed up as ‘farts’ in her honour, much to her delight.

After publishing the children’s book late last year, the writing sensation joked on The Project that Hamish and Sonny inspired the picture book.

On the topic of flatulence habits at home, the star laughed while sharing: ‘Sonny is still a bit stunned when they happen… Hamish knows what they are, yes. He is a professional.’
