A YouTube star who got a ‘World Cup Winners, Croatia 2018’ tattoo has no regrets despite also losing a $3,000 bet when France took the trophy.
The self-described ‘international madman’ from Perth said the loss means he will go double or nothing on the Balkan nation at the next World Cup in 2022.
Known as Jeffabel online, the 24-year-old picked Croatia and the amount he gambled at random by playing a game of beer pong.

‘We were going to win $22,000 and it was going to be the best experience ever but you know, that didn’t happen sadly,’ Jeffabel told Nine News.
He said he has ‘no regrets’ about this year’s tattoo and bet, and instead has said he would back the same side at Qatar FIFA World Cup in four years.
‘I was right. It might not be this cup, it might be the cup in 2022,’ he said.
Jeffabel, who has appeared in viral videos eating a cactus and a jellyfish, then promised to eat his hat live on film if Croatia let him down in 2022.
He chose the team and the amount at random by blindly selecting one of several ping pong balls and throwing it into a group of cups each assigned a quarter-final team.
The ball he selected was marked $3,000 – out of a range from $500 to $10,000 – and the cup he threw it into turned out to be marked Croatia.

The video of him playing the game, placing the bet and getting the tattoo went viral after he posted it to his YouTube channel Jeffabel and Friends.
He stood to win $22,500 if Croatia beat France on Sunday evening, but France won 4-2 instead.
Asked by Daily Mail Australia if he would laser remove the tattoo off if France win, he insisted: ‘Absolutely not.’
Jeff has been running his YouTube channel to which he uploads stunts such as eating a whole cactus for his 600,000 subscribers for five years.
He describes himself as a part-time trucker and part-time international madman.
