For most ink lovers, tattoos hold a special significance and serve as a permanent reminder or something important to them.
But for others, they’re a permanent reminder of a not-so wise decision that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives.
A hilarious new online gallery compiled by Bored Panda showcases some of the world’s worst inkings.
In many cases people have opted for joke tattoos including one woman who had an onion inked on her armpit.
Elsewhere other brave tatt fans have gone as far as to have their faces tattooed, including one animal lover who now has ‘Vegan’ stamped permanently on her forehead.
