Hunt underway for man after four women are sexually assaulted in less than a month 

  • Police have urged public for help into four sexual assault investigations

  • The first assault allegedly took place on April 17 and the most recent on May 14

A hunt is underway for a man after an alleged string of sexual assaults in a popular Melbourne suburb.

Police have released an image of a man who may be able to help with their investigations into four alleged separate sexual assaults in Hampton Park.

According to police an unknown man has allegedly approached four different woman.

The man is described by police as ‘being aged 20 to 30-years-old, with a dark complexion, 170cm tall and a solid build’.

The four alleged incidents have taken place in the last month. 

On April 17 the first assault allegedly took place on Hallam Road near Willow Drive about 11.20am.

The next assault allegedly happened on April 30 on the same road as the first, but closer to Somerville Road at 12.20pm. 

The third assault allegedly took place on May 2 at Willow Drive near Hallam South Road at 4pm.

The most recent assault allegedly took place on Monday May 14 on Pound Road about 10.30am.
