Jenny Powell, 49, reveals secret to her age-defying looks

She was one of Nineties TV’s most prominent faces with her long-standing role on Wheel Of Fortune alongside John Leslie.

And while Jenny Powell’s rise to fame was over 20 years ago, she is still looking as sensational as ever, as illustrated when she headed out in Cheshire’s Alderley Edge while sporting skin-tight workout gear to best show off her age-defying frame.

The 49-year-old TV legend, who is mother to daughters Connie, 16, and Pollyanna, eight, with ex-husband Toby Baxendale, gave a glimpse of the secret of youth as she clutched a heaving bag full of healthy looking juices.

Jenny shot to fame in 1985 with voiceover work for TV ads before she got her big break when she became presenter of Top Of The Pops in 1989 before winning her hostess role on Wheel Of Fortune in 1995.

After many years as a pin-up, it is clear the brunette beauty has still got it as she slipped into her tight black workout wear which made the most of her stunning physique – particularly her endless legs in her leggings.

She piled her hair atop her head which helped show off her glowing complexion with full impact as she opened her eyes with a lick of fluttering mascara.

Making it clear just how she stays so trim, she was spotted stacking up a mound of juices from Neon Personal Training in the area favoured by WAGs.

Most recently in her TV career, Jenny joined TV game show Bigheads alongside Jason Manford and Kriss Akabusi, where they act as commentators.

Back in April, Jenny appeared on Loose Women to discuss the pain of post-natal depression as she said: ‘When I had post-natal depression, I didn’t want to work again. I had this baby lying next to me and couldn’t relate to her.

She then described the moment she sought help from a counsellor.

Jenny explained: “I woke up and I couldn’t feel my legs because I didn’t want to feel my legs. I didn’t want to move and be a mum.

‘But I thought: “You need to get out and do something”, and then went online and looked for a counsellor. If I hadn’t got out of bed then, I’d have got a lot worse.’

Jenny split from her first husband Toby Baxendale in 2009, and has since met someone else named Martin.

She told the romantic story of how they met while she was hungover sitting with a coffee, waiting for her train at Euston Station.

Jenny said: “Boy, did that boost my confidence, but that was a long journey.”
