John Legend, Kristen Bell, Alyssa Milano campaign for Democrats

If Hollywood is feeling a little empty this weekend, that’s because a number of celebrities are out stumping for Democratic candidates across the country.

Taking a page from Oprah Winfrey’s book, stars including John Legend and Kristen Bell were out in full force to rally voters before Tuesday’s midterms.

Legend returned to his native Ohio on Tuesday to show his support for Sen Sherrod Brown, who is running for reelection, and Rich Cordray, who is running for governor.

‘Great to be back in my home state of Ohio supporting amazing Democrats running for office this year,’ Legend tweeted.

‘If you live in Ohio, be sure to vote @SherrodBrown for Senate, @RichCordray for Gov, yes on Issue 1 and Dem up and down the ticket!’

As always Chrissy Teigen was quick to crack a joke about the tweet, joking that her husband was trying to vote in California – where he lives – and Ohio.

‘Wow u are voting in California and Ohio that sounds ILLEGAL much ???? will be reporting this tweet,’ she said, taking aim at Trump’s frequent – and unsubstantiated – claims of illegal voting done in favor of the Democratic party.
