‘Cobi Egan was born yesterday at 5.37pm.. mummy and baby are doing amazing!!! We are all so in love with him!!!

Earlier this year he took to Instagram to reveal that he’s expecting his third child with wife Jodi Albert.

The couple, who married in 2009, are already parents to five-year-old son Koa and 22-month-old son Zeke.

Whilst Jodi captioned the same picture on her own Instagram account: ‘Looks like I might be needing this again… baby no3 (sic)’

Meanwhile, Jodi previously confessed her and Kian would like to have ‘three or four’ children eventually.

She said: ‘It’s hard to think about right now but Kian is from a big family of seven, so ideally we’d like three or four.

‘The Irish have big families. We’d love a girl, but so long as they were happy and healthy, that’s all that really matters.’

Asked how she felt when she learned she was expecting a second son, she added: ‘We’d like a girl at some point but we just wanted a healthy, happy baby. I never dreamt before Koa of being a mum to little boys, but now I’m obsessed with boys – they’re such cool little dudes. And I thought Koa needed a companion – Zeke even wore one of Koa’s little baby grows in the hospital.’

Jodi and Kian wed in Barbados in 2009 after five years of dating.

The youngest son Zekey was delivered by caesarean on 21 May 2015, coincidentally the birthday of 32-year-old Jodi’s beloved mother Eileen and just months after her passing.

‘It absolutely breaks my heart that [mum] will never meet him, so the fact he was born on her birthday is extra special as it means she’s a part of him,’ she told OK at the time.

The couple couldn’t believe how much he looked like Eileen, with Jodi adding: ‘We both cried our eyes out as we couldn’t believe what a miracle it was. I mean, Koa was blond and blue eyed.’

The mum of two admits: ‘It was such a massive rush of emotions. I felt like the broken heart that I had from my mum was closing a little bit because he was here, safe and healthy.’

On a friendship front, Kian has this year distanced himself from former bandmate Brian McFadden in the last year, after it was announce that the ex-member new side project Boyzlife.

The man band sees him teaming up with former Boyzone member Keith Duffy for a new musical endeavour, which I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner Kian said left him ‘scratching his head’.

The musician told 98FM that he found the off-shoot aggravating since the two man bands had planned to unite for a tour in the future.

Kian said: ‘It was really unfair on the fans that everybody thought that this was what’s happening, you know that Westlife and Boyzone were getting together to do a tour.

‘From the perspective of someone who spent 15 years in Westlife it was really aggravating,’ he continued.

The coach on The Voice Of Ireland seemed genuinely stunned at Brian’s plans to form the group continuing: ‘It’s a bit of an odd one – a member of Westlife who left the band after four years decides to use half the name for whatever it is that they’re doing.’

Surprise revelation: The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner was ‘scratching his head’, when he found out about the boy-band partnership

After forming in 1998, Westlife went on to sell 11.1million albums worldwide, with Brian leaving six years later and the rest of group disbanding in 2012 after continuing as a four piece.

Kian, who was ranked number five on Ireland’s Sexiest Man in 2014 has enjoyed a successful career himself by being crowned ‘King Of The Jungle’ in the gruesome ITV series, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here and being a coach on the Irish spin-off of The Voice.
