Once Prince Harry was well and truly off the market, Princess Margaret’s grandson Arthur Chatto looked set to take the crown for most eligible royal bachelor.
But the 19-year-old, who is the Queen’s great-nephew and former page boy, has broken hearts by going ‘Instagram official’ with his girlfriend Lizzie Friend for the first time.
The son of Lady Sarah Chatto, who is 23rd in line to the throne, posted a loved up snap of Lizzie perched on his knee with an arm slung around his shoulder.
Lizzie is a fellow Edinburgh University student, where Arthur is studying History of Art, and a source previously told the Daily Mail: ‘They hit it off straight away.
‘She’s really sweet and they make a very nice couple. He took her to Royal Ascot this summer as his date.’
However, many of Arthur’s 91,000 Instagram followers were downcast by the news he’s off the market with several admitting they were ‘jealous’, while another wrote ‘broken heart’.
