This is the shocking moment a group of schoolchildren began attacking police officers who had been called to break up a fight.
Footage shows outnumbered officers trying to keep order outside John Willmott School in Sutton Coldfield yesterday morning as the unruly teenagers surrounded them and hurled abuse.
At point in the video, students can be seen holding onto a girl before she appears to strike an officer on the arm.
A 16-year-old girl was held on suspicion of offences including assaulting an officer, while others were given dispersal notices banning them from the area for up to 48 hours.

The arrested teenager was released with what was termed a ‘community resolution’.
West Midlands Police said officers were sent to the scene to ‘offer reassurance to students and staff’ after a fight began at around 9am yesterday.
Teachers were also present to help usher pupils away from the school.
One 16-year-old student, accompanied by her mother, said the drama happened as Year 11 students sat an exam.
She said: ‘Police were there outside the gym as soon as we finished our exam. Our last exam is on Friday.
‘There was a lot of grabbing, pushing and shoving.
‘One of the lads in my year started filming the police and a policewoman started to record us all on camera.
‘That’s when it all kicked off. No-one was doing anything and they just started to push us.
‘I got pushed so I said: “Don’t push me”. There was just no need.
‘Even my mum said it didn’t need to happen and they were too heavy-handed. There were three police cars and a couple of riot vans.’

West Midlands Police said: ‘We were called to a school in Sutton Coldfield at around 9am yesterday morning to reports of disorder between schoolchildren.
‘Police attended to offer reassurance to students and staff after a fight broke out outside the school.
‘Dispersal notices, which can ban someone from an area for up to 48 hours, were issued to all teenagers involved, which relieved the situation.
‘A 16-year-old girl was arrested for breaching the dispersal notice, failing to comply with directions and assaulting an officer.
‘She has been released with a community resolution.’
