But one Sydney cafe has taken beverage artistry to a whole new level by offering ‘coffee tailoring’ which caters every single cup to a person’s individual coffee needs.

Haven Tailoring Coffee Joyously will adjust each brew to their customer’s refined expectations – and that means every element from bean aroma to the aftertaste.
Patrons can pick a coffee with a fruity, nutty, chocolate or vanilla flavour and can ask to alter something as superficial as the coffee grind size.
‘We achieve flavour tailoring in each brew by adjusting one or more of the following attributes: Coffee grind size, total brewing time, brewing temperature, coffee to water ratio and choice of coffee origins,’ Haven Coffee writes on its website.

It was founded by two owners with Asian cooking backgrounds – one of which is a former ‘Sensory and Visual Judge’ of world coffee competitions.
Caffeine lovers have shared their experiences at the bespoke establishment – with one patron even praising it as: ‘The best coffee I’ve had in a while. It was perfect’.
Some of the coffee combinations it offers includes deconstructed cold brews or ones with fruity undertones such as lemon, pineapple, mango, strawberry or melon.

It touts itself as the ‘most intimate coffee experience ever’ and the barista certainly won’t raise an eyebrow if your order takes more than three seconds to utter.
‘Through coffee tailoring, we dare to remind coffee drinkers their rights to have their perfect cup and how important the role of a barista, thus living the coffee culture with everyone involved,’ the cafe owner adds on its Facebook page.
The cafe also serves a light choice of Asian-fusion brunch items which can be ordered alongside your tailor-made brew.
