Woman’s Day double down on report that Jasmine Yarbrough was ‘banned’ from the Logies red carpet

Woman’s Day is doubling down on their claims that Karl Stefanovic’s fiancée Jasmine Yarbrough was supposedly ‘banned’ from last week’s Logies red carpet.

While the Today Show star has labelled the bombshell allegations as ‘hurtful’ and ‘wrong’, the magazine is refusing to retract the report.

In Woman’s Day’s Uncensored podcast, released on Thursday, editor-at-large Phil Koch defiantly claimed: ‘We have really good sources at Channel Nine. We were told there were very tense negotiations going on (between Karl and Nine) in the weeks leading up to the Logies.’

‘We very much stick by our story!’ In their Uncensored podcast on Thursday, Woman’s Day doubled down on their claims that Karl Stefanovic’s fiancée Jasmine Yarbrough was ‘banned’ from the Logies red carpet

He continued: ‘I understand Karl paid for a whole styling team out of his own pocket for her’.

Hoping to add weight to Woman’s Day’s story, Phil then claimed: ‘Jasmine wasn’t seen on the red carpet. Channel Nine also didn’t show any vision of her on TV that night, even though Karl is one of their biggest stars’.

Rather than walk the red carpet with Jasmine on Logies night, Karl was pictured with co-star Georgie Gardner.

She further claimed: ‘I don’t think he wanted to be there. He wanted Jasmine on his arm, and he just didn’t look like a happy camper.’

On Monday, Karl blasted the initial Woman’s Day article by taking to Instagram and sharing a photo of the magazine’s cover.

Ouch: 'They told [Karl] in no uncertain terms that it wasn't a good look to bring Jasmine to the event and banned her from the red carpet,' an insider claimed to Woman's Day on Monday

He fumed in the caption: ‘Another week another BS cover. Enough is enough.’

The 43-year-old then went on to say that Jasmine was indeed invited onto the red carpet, and that the couple enjoyed themselves at the event.

Karl – who is fixture in the tabloids – also railed:’ ‘These mags (sic) are bullies, hurtful and always wrong. Pls (sic) stop.’

Earlier on Monday, Woman’s Day claimed there was a ‘behind-the-scenes war’ going on in the weeks leading up to the Logie Awards in regards to Jasmine’s attendance.

A source allegedly claimed to the publication: ‘Nine told [Karl] they didn’t want Jasmine there.’

A source claimed that the fact Today’s ratings have been dwindling since Karl split with his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn and subsequently began dating Jasmine was a factor in the decision.

'Enough is enough!' On Monday, Karl Stefanovic took to Instagram to hit back at a Woman's Day report claiming his fiancée Jasmine Yarbrough was 'banned' from the Logies red carpet

‘They told him in no uncertain terms that it wasn’t a good look to bring Jasmine to the event and banned her from the red carpet,’ alleged the insider.

‘They ensured no footage of Jasmine went to air during the telecast, and that wasn’t easy when she was sitting next to him.’

Karl was adamant that Jasmine would attend the event with him and took advantage of the rule that Gold Logie winners get a plus-one for life.

A Channel Nine spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia on Monday that the Woman’s Day report was ‘not correct’.
