Filming for the new Bond film has been beset by disasters, including star Daniel Craig injuring his ankle, big names walking out, and no fewer than three on-set explosions.

So thank goodness that MI6’s trusty secretary Miss Moneypenny is back to smooth it all over.

As our exclusive pictures reveal, Craig, 51, was back on set last week with actress Naomie Harris, who plays the infallible Moneypenny, as they filmed their first scenes together for the 25th James Bond film.

The scenes, shot in South London, had a distinctly vintage vibe.

The pair arrived outside a terraced house in a classic 1984 Aston Martin V8 Volante to visit MI6 gadget man Q.

Miss Harris, 42, looked chic in a coral blouse, black trousers and a striped overcoat, while Craig looked classic Bond in a tailored grey suit, pale blue shirt and navy tie, complete with tie clip.

It was announced last week that the as-yet-untitled movie will be released in the UK on April 3 next year, despite the setbacks.
