In 2016, Bec said that while she felt acting was too time consuming, she was ‘nervous’ about what to do with her time now that her kids were at school.

She also worried about being in the public eye again, at the time having scored a role as an ambassador for Barbie.

‘I’m settled now, the kids are all in school but I’m really nervous. It’s been so many years since I’ve done talk shows and press,’ she explained to the Sydney Morning Herald at the time.
