In her most viral video of 2021, she chronicled day in her life, starting with an end of semester exam she took at school after lunch

The inspiring TikTok was filmed after lunch and showed Ava in a classroom taking an end of semester test on a laptop. The teen, who is working to finish school early, scored 88% on the exam and finished a credit.

After handing her laptop back to her teacher for the day, she met up with her best friend, who drove her to pick up her kids.

‘Shout out to my grandma for watching them,’ she captioned footage of her pal holding her adorable daughter. She later noted in the comments that they are just close friends and not a couple.

They then buckled the kids up in their car seats and drove to Ava’s home, where she lives with her mom and sisters. Jordan had a dance party followed by a ‘terrible two tantrum.’

The video sweetly ended with the little boy sucking on a pacifier and cuddling with his mom, but it only included a small portion of her day.

Ava was met with some criticism for being a teen mom in the comments, but she also received plenty of support in response to the video, which has been viewed more than 8.6 million times.

‘I give [you] major props for going to school,’ one person wrote. ‘I was a teen mom also and finished school and worked full time.’

‘I give you a lot of credit for still finishing school and balancing everything,’ someone else agreed, while another added: ‘I can tell your an amazing mom and life has bumps but you didn’t let it affect you.’

In previous videos, she demonstrated how she makes her children breakfast and gets them dressed in the morning. After her grandmother picks them up, she heads off to school.

‘I was actually 13 years old when I had first gotten pregnant with Jordan,’ she explained last year on an episode of Truly’s My Extraordinary Family. ‘I didn’t have my period, like my period was gone.

‘But I didn’t really have any other symptoms. I kind of was just putting two and two together,’ she recalled. ‘I was nervous. I had actually taken a Plan B pill, but I don’t think I took it in the right amount of time, so it didn’t work.’

Ava, who lost her own father to heroin when she was 11, met her children’s dad at one of his basketball games a few years later and fell ‘head over heels for him.’

In her TikTok videos, she alleged that he cheated on her throughout her pregnancy, and she struggled with postpartum depression after she welcomed Jordan in February 2020.

Six months later, she learned she was pregnant with Avaeya.

‘The second time was the most traumatic thing in my life. I just sat and I bawled,’ she explained on My Extraordinary Family. ‘I remember crying and crying and crying because I could do one. Jordan I felt like was it for me.’

Ava said she feared she wouldn’t be able to give her son ‘enough love,’ and she recalled ‘screaming and crying’ to her mother because she ‘didn’t know what to do.’

Critics have slammed her for not being on birth control following her first unplanned pregnancy, but she insisted she was on the pill at the time.

‘I was on birth control with Avaeya and it failed,’ she said in one TikTok video. ‘It’s just what happens sometimes.

‘I didn’t mean for it to happen. I took it every single day at the same hour. I wasn’t messing up. I guess I was just one of the unlucky ones.’

Ava explained that she is no longer in a relationship with her children’s father because they both have things they need to work on.

‘The most challenging thing of being a mom is the fact that it never ends,’ she admitted on her episode of My Extraordinary Family.

‘It’s really hard, especially the first time, to adapt to that,’ she added. ‘You’re never going back to normal. This is who you are now and it’s who you’re gonna be until you die.’
