A $1.5million package including two luxury apartments and a brand new boat could be yours for just $2.

Brisbane-based community fundraising organisation, Mater Foundation, put up the extraordinary offering as part of its prize home lottery.

The package includes two fully furnished apartments at the WaterPoint Residences in Biggera Waters, a Bar Crusher 615BR sports and fishing boat, and a marine berth.

The winner, who would need to purchase tickets from $2 on the website, will  also receives a whopping $65,000 in gold bullion.

‘This prize really is the stuff that dreams are made of,’ the Mater Foundation website reads.

‘It’s the ultimate home, income and play package that can take the stress of everyday life away, leaving you with time to relax and enjoy the very best that Gold Coast living has to offer.’

The website says Mater Prize Home Lottery No. 289 is taking the lottery to ‘the next level’ by offering the winner two luxury apartments rather than one house.

‘And as if that’s not enough, the prize also includes $65,000 of gold bullion, giving you a nice little golden nest egg to help go towards your luxe new lifestyle,’ it says. 

Mater Foundation supports Mater Health, Mater Education and Mater Research, and has been running the home lottery since 1954.

Funds raised from the lotteries are dispersed across all platforms, with tickets selling for just $2.

Mater Lotteries Executive Director Steve Francia said he hopes the lottery will help someone who suffered due to the coronavirus pandemic.

‘With or without COVID-19, Mater is still here for birthing mothers, helping premature babies thrive, and giving hope and treatment to those living with cancer. This doesn’t stop in times of crisis,’ he told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

‘Although we can only award one prize home at a time, every single ticket sold contributes to saving lives and providing not only vital resources, but exceptional patient care and research.’

Mr Francia said people can enter the competition with some loose change and have the chance of winning a life-changing prize.

Three-bedroom luxury apartment with water views, two bathrooms, study, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and two carparks.

Apartment 2 (valued at $489,000)

Both apartments, interior designed and fully furnished (valued at $138,173).
