Sacha Baron Cohen swooped up two statuettes at the 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
It was a very different ceremony this year, both held virtually around the world, and at the famed Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, where a handful of stars flocked for their red carpet appearance.
The comedian, 49, accepted the awards for Best Actor in a musical or comedy, as well as Best Comedy or Musical, for his latest flick, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, via video link from his adopted home of Sydney, Australia.

By the Ali G star’s side was his Australian wife Isla Fisher, 45, who was absolutely beaming with pride.
Upon the announcement, the comedic actress swooped in and gave Sacha a passionate kiss.
She then watched on lovingly, laughing uproariously at times, as Sacha, in his usual form, gave a hilarious acceptance speech.

‘Thank you to the all-white Hollywood Foreign Press. I’ve gotta say this movie couldn’t have been possible without my co-star, a fresh, new talent who came from nowhere and turned out to be a comedy genius,’ he said.
Sacha went on: ‘I’m talking, of course, about Rudy Giuliani. I mean, who can get more laughs out of one unzipping? Incredible.
‘Our movie was just the beginning for him, Rudy went on to star in a string of comedy films.

Isla and Sacha relocated from Los Angeles to Sydney, along with their children, in December.
While it’s been widely speculated that they moved Down Under to escape the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the US, reports claim they were actually fleeing America’s tumultuous political climate.
