The 2022 Logie Awards are labelled ‘the most forgettable and BORING in history’ – as TV’s night of night returns for the first time in two years
The Logie Awards is the biggest event on Australia’s social calendar.
But many viewers were left unimpressed by the 2022 ceremony, which took place on the Gold Coast on Sunday night, calling it the ‘most boring in history’.
‘Logies 2022 [were] the worst I’ve ever seen so boring!’ one viewer tweeted, adding that the only highlights were Sam Pang, Chrissie Swan and Tony Martin.

‘The most boring Logies in history,’ another wrote.
A third viewer tweeted: ‘Can’t wait for the wash up tomorrow about the Logies. This is boring.’
Another fan commented on social media: ‘Wow that was super boring #Logies2022.’

Also in the running for the award were I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! host Julia Morris, MasterChef judge Melissa Leong, Channel Seven presenter Sonia Kruger, comedian Tom Gleeson, and Home and Away actor Ray Meagher.
In his acceptance speech, Hamish joked that his Gold Logie counted as three because none were handed out in 2019 and 2020.
He also won the award in 2012, and said he now technically had four Gold Logies.
The Lego Masters presenter thanked his wife, Zoë Foster Blake, and his two children, son Sonny and daughter Rudy.
