On Thursday, the newest edition to 2Day FM’s low-rating breakfast show insisted starting from the bottom meant any positive result and they’d ‘be heroes’.
In fact, the Em, Grant & Ed co-host admitted to The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday that his biggest fear isn’t failure – it’s Em Rusciano.

The Family Feud host confessed his boisterous co-host ‘terrifies’ him on a daily basis.
‘She calls me a fabulous bogan. Maybe it’s because I live on a farm and race cars… she’s smart, she’s loud, she’s captivating, and I’m little,’ he said.
In the interest of prosperity, it’s a good thing Grant isn’t ‘terrified’ by the fact he’s entered a show that’s never experienced ratings as low as they are now.

Years of failed breakfast team groupings – from Sam Frost and Rove McManus, to Sophie Monk, Mel B, Merrick Watts and Jules Lund – have preceded his entrance.
He told the publication the fact his new show was at the ‘bottom of the pile’ was exciting.
‘If we found some ground, we’d be heroes and it would feel awesome to turn this ship around or at least be a small piece of the solution,’ he said.

‘We’d only have to find one or two (ratings percentage points) and we’re heroes… this is a long-term plan.’
Hopefully the trio of Em, Grant and Ed Kavalee get the time to enact their long-term salvation plan for the network.
