50 Cent fires back after his Las Vegas residency was called the ‘worst’ show to ever hit Sin City

50 Cent has fired back after a prominent Las Vegas blogger said that his Vegas residency was the ‘worst’ show to ever hit Sin City.

At a recent performance from the residency, the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, addressed the scathing review from blogger Jennifer Gay, better known as Vegas Starfish to her almost 1 million followers.

‘Um, they said the audio was bad,’ he told the sold-out Planet Hollywood crowd.

‘What, you thought I’m gonna be out here rollerblading like Usher and s**t?’ he continued.

‘I seen some s**t, Chris Brown was flying in Africa. I don’t have records that require me to fly in Africa.’

In her scathing review, Gay criticized everything from the sound quality of Jackson’s show to the stage design.

She also said that the In Da Club hitmaker barely interacted with the crowd.

‘The sound was balanced poorly making it impossible to hear the performance,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘His hype men were unrelenting and overbearing, making it difficult to hear anything but their echoes,’ she continued.

‘The stage design and graphics felt like they were organized 15 minutes before the show with a Chat GPT prompt for “90’s hip hop images.”‘

She went on to say that Jackson had a ‘lack of energy’ on stage and complained about a ‘lack of crowd engagement.’

‘This was the worst live performance, for any artist, I’ve ever attended. I understand that he’s successful and doesn’t need a residency, so why do it if he doesn’t want to put any effort into it?’ she raged.

‘It felt like he didn’t want to be here after the first 10 minutes. This was worth about 1/10th of what I paid to see it.’

Following her brutal review, many people in the comments accused Gay of being too hard on the Candy Shop hitmaker.

‘Rather hear the opinion of a fan, those are the ones that count,’ commented one.

Another wrote, ‘Sounds like a bulk of the issues were on the venue with sound, lighting and graphics. Odd take to put it on the performer.’

A third added, ‘Your experience was completely different from ours. The entire crowd was engaged and stood up and danced the entire time. Not sure what show you went to, but the one I went to was awesome.’

DailyMail.com reached out to Jackson and Planet Hollywood for comment at the time.

The Grammy-winning rapper ‘locked down a massive $15 million deal’ for the six-date residency, which includes a New Year’s Eve concert on December 31, according to TMZ.

The residency is being held inside the 4,600-seat PH Live aka Bakkt Theater – which features 2,200 square feet of HD LED walls, D&B sound system with over 100K watts of power, and one of the largest proscenium arch openings in the States.

The mid-sized auditorium previously housed residencies for Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Lionel Richie, Gwen Stefani, Pitbull, Lionel Richie, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Backstreet Boys, and Christina Aguilera.

Jackson has scored several Billboard number ones throughout his career including In Da Club, P.I.M.P., Candy Shop, Just A Lil Bit, Magic Stick, 21 Questions, and Hate It Or Love It.
