50 Cent sued for using snapper’s photos without permission

Rapper 50 Cent is facing a lawsuit from a snapper who alleges the star lifted his photos without permission and posted them on social media to promote his products.

The accusation against Fifty, real name Curtis James Jackson III, comes from Christopher Pasatieri, who described himself as a professional photographer in documents seen by TMZ.

On Monday, the website reported that Pasatieri submitted screenshots of his photo and the identical picture that the 42-year-old G-Unit rapper posted on Instagram.

In the caption, the Queens hip-hop star promoted his SMS headphones as well as his upcoming 50 Central show on BET.

Pasatieri said the Jamaican-born rapper never licensed the photos or asked for permission to post them on Instagram.

The photos were reportedly taken during Fifty’s Citi Field performance in New York in June 2014, where he performed alongside G-Unit for their epic reunion.

The rap group is also reportedly a part of Pasatieri’s lawsuit.

Pasatieri is suing for damages but TMZ did not have details of the amount and 50 Cent had not replied to the website for comment.

Meanwhile, the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper has been keeping busy this year producing his upcoming 50 Central show, as well as Power for Starz.

He is also working on three more series for the network after signing a hefty production deal with them last month.
