A beautiful cottage on Sydney’s far north shore owned by 60 Minutes reporter Amelia Adams is set to go under the hammer on August 26.

Located in Frenchs Forest 18kms from the CBD, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is going to auction with a listing price of $1.9million.

Amelia, 40, and husband Luke Adams bought the property in 2014 for $1.115million reports The Daily Telegraph.

The house became a rental in 2018 after Amelia spent time in London and the U.S. as a reporter for Channel Nine.

Set in a leafy neighbourhood, the classic family home features a beautiful open plan design in the kitchen and lounge which opens onto a back yard entertainment deck.

According to PropTrack, the median price for a three-bedroom pad in Frenchs Forest is $1.850 million.

Amelia has spent 13 years at Channel Nine, after stints at Channel Seven on Sunrise and Channel 10, Brisbane, where she presented the news.

While working as Nine’s U.S. reporter she covered the final year of Donald Trump’s presidency and the tumultuous 2020 US election.

She also has experience reporting in warzones, reporting from Ukraine and Iraq.

Outside of that, she also worked as Nine’s London based Europe and Middle East Correspondent, largely covering Brexit, the Turkish incursion, the US assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani and more.

In 2022 Amelia joined Liz Hayes, Tara Brown, Liam Bartlett, Sarah Abo, and Tom Steinfort at Nine’s current affairs show 60 Minutes.
