Veteran 60 Minutes reporter Liz Hayes reveals the REAL reason why she found George Clooney to be ‘rude’ during their interview
Liz Hayes has revealed she thought George Clooney was ‘rude’ when she interviewed him several years ago on assignment for 60 Minutes.
The 65-year-old veteran TV reporter made the bombshell admission during a behind the scenes segment for 9Now on Wednesday.
But rather than complaining about his attitude, Liz said it was simply ‘rude’ how George, 60, managed to be so impressive.

‘George is rude, he’s got it all,’ she laughed, admitting that in actuality the Hollywood hunk had been one been one of her favourite celebrity interviews.
Aside from being incredibly handsome, Liz added that George ‘oozes charm’ and described him as ‘old-school Hollywood’.
‘What shocked me most about George is that he’s better looking in the flesh,’ she continued.

‘And that to me was pretty shocking because that bloke is as handsome as you can get in a magazine, television, a movie.’
She added: ‘He oozes charm, really a disgusting amount of charm’.
An unearthed video of their interview saw Liz immediately disarmed after the Ocean’s Eleven star greeted her with a kiss on the cheek.

Liz pointed out that George is a man of many talents, having successfully undertaken a variety of roles in different genres.
In addition to being ‘funny’, Liz said he also ‘cares about the world’, referencing his work with the United Nations.
‘They don’t come like George anymore,’ she concluded.
