American star Brendan Fraser looked notably different as he took a stroll in London on Wednesday evening.
Sporting clear rimmed glasses and a flat cap, the actor, once one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars, was worlds away from his career defining roles as Tarzan in George of the Jungle and swashbuckling action-hero Rick O’Connell in The Mummy franchise.
Fraser, 49, opted for a relaxed outfit comprised of jeans and black sweater as he ventured out in Soho.

He added to his look with a brown leather jacket and a baker boy cap, while scuffed brown boots rounded things off.
The actor appeared to be alone as he took the evening air, pausing to examine some street art on a wall.
Brendan then headed into a Chinese restaurant for a bite to eat.
Old times: Brendan once played Tarzan in George Of The Jungle, a box office hit following its release in 1997
The actor’s first stand out role was in the 1992 film Encino Man. That same year he starred with Matt Damon and Chris O’Donnell in School Ties.
He had his first major box office success with 1997’s George Of The Jungle, a comedy.
He also starred alongside Elizabeth Hurley in 2000’s Bedazzled, another comedy, in which he found himself enraptured with a sexy incarnation of the devil.
But it was perhaps The Mummy franchise that saw him shoot to prominence, as the leading action star of the films, which saw him battle mythical Egyptian creatures with Rachel Weisz.

There was an intended fourth movie in the works, with Maria practically confirming it, but it never came to fruition; yet this would have presumably still featured Brendan.
It was reported that this would be the start of a new trilogy, but in 2012 Universal canned the project.
This year, a reboot was released, but didn’t feature any of the old cast and was an entirely new storyline. It starred Tom Cruise and was instead set in the present day. The film’s plot was set in Iraq and followed a Navy SEAL and his team that battle Mummies led by Ashurbanipal.
