Pete Evans sports a bizarre hair cut thanks to wife Nicola

He’s best known for being the number one advocate of the paleo lifestyle in Australia.

But this time chef Pete Evans, 44, has been busy championing a new haircut – thanks to the handy work of his wife Nicola Robinson, 40.

The former model took to her Instagram story to share a post of Pete sporting a very different haircut, similar to that of Will Ferrell’s famous character Mugatu from Zoolander.

The My Kitchen Rules judge even played up the movie reference by doing a ‘blue steel’ pout.

However, Pete took to his own Instagram to share his version of how his haircut really happened with a photo by photo transformation.

The Channel Seven personality revealed he had actually shaved his hair off, with the Zoolander-inspired look only taken halfway through the haircut.

Trading in his full head of brunette tousles for a buzz cut, he looked very pleased with the end result.

‘Transitioning into 2018,’ he wrote in the caption.

‘I should’ve kept the ‘mugatu’ option (from zoolander) in the middle pic. Thanks for the chop Nicola.’

Fans loved his hair snaps, including one who cheekily commented: ‘Paleo obviously gives you great hair. I’m sold!’

Meanwhile another follower joked: ‘Think you lot have had too much kambucha.’

This comes after renowned chef Jamie Oliver admitted to the Herald Sun that Paleo diet, favoured by Pete Evans, ‘is not really my thing’.

‘I get that we haven’t changed since caveman times and I get that we were hunter gatherers but to be honest I think that we can get so caught up in diets and fads that we become very confused,’ he said.
