They became household names from the comfort of their own living room in north London.
But Gogglebox’s Tapper family went global on Thursday, when they were pictured enjoying a festive beach break in Barbados.
So far from their sofa, matriarch Nikki, 44, and husband Jonathan, 50, spent a luxurious Christmas with their children Amy, 17, and 20-year-old Josh – along with his pretty girlfriend – soaking up the sun in a celebrity hotspot.

Mum-of-two Nikki was quite the Goggle-fox in a floral two-piece, featuring frilly bottoms and a strapless bikini top, ideal for an even, golden tan.
She was seen on the sands with trainee hairdresser daughter Amy, who was in full holiday mode in an off-the-shoulder top and shorts.
Beneath her beach look, Amy was dressed in a one-piece swimsuit, ready for a day aboard a boat with her famous four-piece family.

The down-to-earth north London family may have been out of their usual comfort zone but they certainly made themselves at home in the Caribbean.
Adapting well to island life, 20-year-old Josh was seen taking a long walk along the coastline with his bikini-clad girlfriend.
Shirtless Josh was sporting colourful board shorts while his pretty companion looked effortless in a mismatching halterneck bikini.
The loved-up teens were later seen sharing a kiss in the sea, as she joined the famous Tapper family for a luxurious getaway.

Barbados is a winter sun destination favoured by the likes of Simon Cowell and TV presenter Emma Forbes, and has this year been the setting for Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg’s Christmas break.
The Tapper family have adjusted well to fame since joining British reality show Gogglebox – on which families are filmed watching and commenting on popular TV shows – on Channel 4 in 2013.
They have become one of the best-loved groups on the show, becoming known for their witty one-liners, intellectual commentary and heart-warming family dynamic.
Father Jonathan, 50, – a chaffeur and former restaurateur – motivated the whole family to make positive lifestyle changes in July, after being diagnosed with diabetes type 2.

Matriarch Nikki explained to MailOnline at the time: ‘I’ve always cooked from scratch for the family and try to encourage them to be healthy.
‘Now with Jonathan’s diabetes, I am trying to reduce his carbs. We will still have rice, potatoes and pasta but in smaller portions. We are now all going for walks together as a family.’
Josh also said that he was ‘beefing up’ at the gym following a full health MOT with the family.
He said: ‘I do a mixture of cardio and weights at the gym, I used to go once a week but now I train most days. Having a family member with diabetes does hit home how important diet is.’

After four years, the 20-year-old has recently stepped down from Gogglebox to pursue a career in politics, taking on a Civil Service apprenticeship for next two years.
Though Channel 4 has vowed to ‘leave the door open’ for Josh, the Tapper family have gone on with the show without him.
‘It’s a much coveted job,’ a source told The Mirror in October. ‘Josh has already started having meetings within No.10.
The insider added: ‘The Tappers are one of the show’s favourite families and Channel 4 really wanted them to carry on, even without Josh. The family are very proud of him.’

This Christmas, Gogglebox stars mourned the unexpected loss of fan favourite Leon Bernicoff, who has been on the reality show since its inception, alongside his wife June.
It was announced on Christmas Day that Leon had passed away at the age of 83 following a short illness over the weekend.
Channel 4 dedicated the festive episode of Gogglebox to their late cast member.
At the start of Sunday evening’s night’s instalment, an announcer told viewers: ‘Before Gogglebox begins, we’re sorry to share the very sad news that Leon passed away in hospital yesterday.
‘He will be sorely missed and we dedicate tonight’s show to his memory.’
