Dozens of people have taken to social media to share their well wishes for the young jockey described as a ‘brave little lady’.

Six months ago, jockey Donna Philpot died at Bendigo Racecourse, Victoria, after the horse she was riding fell during a jump-out.

The track rider ‘devoted her life to thoroughbred racing’.

The 40-year-old’s horse was also euthanised by a veterinarian because of the extent of its injuries.
