The winner of a £148m EuroMillions jackpot, who split from his wife and was then dumped by his younger fiancee, has found love in a Frankie & Benny’s waitress.

Adrian Bayford, who alongside his then wife Gillian became two of the biggest EuroMillions winners ever in 2012, was spotted enjoying some retail therapy with his new love interest in Cambridge, on Friday.

It is understood he knows waitress Lisa Kemp from his local New York-themed restaurant and was spotted enjoying some Christmas shopping with her, as well as a romantic trip away to Edinburgh.

The pair are thought to be living together at Bayford’s £6million estate in Haverhill, Suffolk, where staff have codenamed them ‘the honeymooners’.

Mr Bayford has ordered them ‘not to breathe a word’ to anyone about her but is said to be ‘smitten’.

He declined to say if he had a new love but did say he was ‘happy with life and everything’s going OK’, according to The Sun.

While a friend added: ‘Adrian has known Lisa for a while, since before he won the jackpot. She’s a really nice down-to-earth girl.’

The former postman is thought to have been mending his broken heart with the waitress, after his fiancee Samantha Burbidge called off their engagement in January this year.

Having met her in a village pub, Mr Bayford spent millions on Miss Burbidge’s passion for riding, even buying a grade-II listed country mansion for them to live together in, complete with stables for her to work in.

But the ex-horse groom, 16 years his junior, is understood to have left with £300,000 worth of thoroughbred horses given to her during their romance, a £100,000 horse box, a £30,000 Mercedes sports car and two black labradors.

His relationship with Miss Burbidge came after his marriage to Gillian ended just 15 months into their new jackpot winning lives, citing the stress of the money as the reason they needed to split.

At the time, a spokesman for Mrs Bayford said: ‘Gillian Bayford confirms that her marriage to Adrian has broken down irretrievably and they have separated.’

It came after Mrs Bayford was forced to deny she had an affair with the couple’s gardener, Chris Tovey.

Mr Tovey tried to sue Mr Bayford after he claimed he was deliberately mowed down in the 200-acre grounds of the pair’s mansion.

Friends said the crash that has left Mr Tovey on crutches was not deliberate.

Meanwhile, Mrs Bayford moved back to Angus in Scotland, finding love with car dealer Alan Warnock.
